Coordinates the law business of the City, including litigation matters and actions filed on behalf of or against the City, drafts ordinances and resolutions and renders opinions when required by the Mayor and Council, prepares deeds, leases, contracts and other documents required by the City, or performs such other duties as may be assigned by the Mayor or the Council, including assisting various City Departments and municipal operations.
