The Berwyn Public Library is committed to serving our community from infancy through their senior years.  The cornerstone of the Library’s mission is to provide patron-oriented library service that promotes both life-long reading and personal growth: by offering timely, accurate and useful materials we hope to meet the informational, educational and recreational needs of our community.

The library occupies three floors, is 33,000 square feet in size and contains 150,000 books and other publications.  The entire facility is handicapped accessible and is equipped with a ramp and elevators.  The reference, non-fiction and foreign language collections are housed on the lower level of the building.  You will also find a conversant staff to assist in accessing an Employment Center and numerous electronic resources on this lower floor.  Adult fiction and the youth services area are located on the first floor.  The second floor is home to the audio-visual materials, computer terminals, a training room for computer instruction, outreach office, a community room, conference room and typing room.

The library offers story times, class visits, youth and adult reading programs, assorted online databases, computer classes and programming for all ages.  We provide monthly lists of new acquisitions, "cheat sheets" for genre selections, annotated bibliographies book lists, recommended reading lists and facilitated book discussions.  Take advantage of your library’s informational and educational resources, abundant programming and knowledgeable staff by discovering what the Berwyn Public Library has to offer you.
