Community service programs include: 911 Emergency; Neighborhood Watch Program; GATE; Citizens Police Academy; Sure-Locked Homes; Operation Lifesaver; con games awareness; McGruff; domestic violence counseling; Bicycle Safety Rodeo; safety precautions for women; drug abuse programs for adults and students including movies, slides, literature and speeches; and sponsorship of Explorer Post No. 94. Public service responsibilities include: Parking violations and ticket payments, handicapped card and sign requests, Vacin Fairway parking permits, visitor passes, court procedures and information on all parking in Berwyn.
