SENIOR ADVOCATE
The Senior Advocate is the supervisor of the Senior Services Division (under Community Development), and implements and designs senior programs. The Senior Advocate organizes informational Town Hall Meetings, plans city senior events, and yearly reports, surveys, and assessments.
The Senior Advocate is Berwyn’s resource and outreach liaison. The Advocate represents the city‘s elderly and disabled, and serves as their bridge to various governmental agencies, local Boards, research groups, committees, and commissions (e.g. hospitals boards, BCCOA, Chicago Community Trust).
