GARAGE SALES

A permit is required to have a house, garage or yard sale. Permits can be obtained free of charge at City Hall. Sales are limited to two a year and the first permit is free.

• A second permit will cost $20.00.
• Signage rules allow you to have two signs on city parkways.
• Signs may be rented with a $10.00 deposit of either a check or money order per sign (no cash deposits accepted).
• Deposit is required at the time the permit is issued and the deposit will be returned to the resident once the signs are returned undamaged. Failure to remove the signs or return them within 5 days will result in the forfeiture of the deposit.
• Signs can be displayed between 7 a. m. to 7 p. m. Sales can be held from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
