Snow Emergency Procedures:
Siren: For snow emergencies, a 60-second wailing siren will sound. It is to remind you that a snow emergency exists and your car may be ticketed and/or towed if illegally parked. A snow emergency is a three-day cycle of plowing.

When 6 or more inches of snow accumulates:
• READ the sign on YOUR block
• Move your car off the SNOW ROUTE
• Alternate moving your car on residential streets for 3 days
On EVEN Days, remove your car FROM the EVEN side
On ODD Days, remove your car FROM the ODD side
• DO NOT leave your car on a SNOW ROUTE—it will be towed or ticketed
• DO NOT ignore the Snow Emergency
• DO NOT leave your car in a residential area when a snow emergency is in effect
