Street Maintenance Procedures:
• READ the Street Sign on YOUR block.
• Your street will be swept every week, weather permitting.
• You must move your car from the street sweeping side before 9:00 a.m. and may not move it back until 4:00 p.m., even if the sweeper has gone by.

Community Service Officers will not be following the sweeper. They will ticket on the street sweeping side between 9:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m., as indicated by the sign on your block. Therefore, if you put your car back before 4:00 p.m., you may still be ticketed, even if your street has already been swept. This ordinance allows the City to keep your street clean and to perform other street maintenance, such as tree cutting and leaf removal.

Leaf Disposal Reminder - All leaves must be placed in a 32-gallon yard waste container or yard waste bag for disposal. Please do not rake leaves into the street. Leaves will block storm drain sewers. Large piles of leaves make street sweeping extremely difficult, causing malfunctions to the sweepers.
