Sealed Proposals will be received at the City Clerk’s Office, until the time and date specified below, for:
BERWYN POLICE DEPARTMENT – Rooftop Generator

ADDRESS PROPOSALS TO: Attention of the City Clerk’s Office, Berwyn City Hall, 6700 W. 26th Street, Berwyn, IL 60402, on or before bid opening time and date specified below. Proposals shall be sealed and clearly marked on the front “MAIN RTU (Rooftop Unit) – Police Department – Request for Proposal” FAXED PROPOSALS WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED.

(1) Public Meeting on CDBG PY 2026 Needs Assessment

In PY 2026 Berwyn is anticipating approximately $1,300,000 in CDBG Funds from HUD. All citizens and interested groups are invited to attend a Public Meeting to discuss Berwyn’s Needs Assessments
for the PY2026 CDBG Action Plan, 10/1/2026 – 9/30/2027.

(2) Notice of RFP’s for CDBG Sub-Recipient Grants

In addition, all interested groups are invited to submit an application for a CDBG Public Service or Public Facilities Grant through Berwyn. Berwyn is allowed to use up to 15% of its CDBG allocation to meet Social Service needs, and 75% for Public Facility’s needs, for PY 2026,
10/1/2026 – 9/30/2027.

These notices shall satisfy procedural Requirements for activities to be undertaken by
the City of Berwyn

REQUEST FOR RELEASE OF FUNDS (RROF)
On or about March 20, 2026 , Berwyn will submit a request to the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) for the release of funds under Title 1 of the Housing and Community Development Act of 1974, as amended to undertake certain activities known as (1) sidewalk replacement, including ADA curbs and ramps in will take place in low-mod areas of Maple, Wisconsin, Wenonah, Home, Clinton, Kenilworth, Grove, Oak Park, Euclid, Wesley, Clarence, East, Scoville, Gunderson, and Elmwood
Avenues from Pershing Road to Ogden Avenue. Ridgeland, Cuyler, Highland, Harvey, and Lombard Avenues from 37th Street to Ogden Avenue. Pershing Road and 38th Street from Harlem Avenue to Ridgeland Avenue. 37th Street from Home Avenue to Ridgeland Avenue. 36th Street from Wesley Avenue to Lombard Avenue. 35th Street from Gunderson Avenue to Lombard Avenue. 34th Street from Highland Avenue to Lombard Avenue. ; (2) Sewer and Street replacement will take place on Kenilworth, Clinton, and Grove Avenues, between Ogden Avenue to 37th Street. 37th Street, Oak Park Avenue through Home Avenue. Grove Avenue, 38th Street to 39th Street. These activities benefit low and moderate income households and geographic areas and will take place within the City of Berwyn, Illinois at a total cost of approximately $1,066,743 for infrastructure.

All comments received by March 20, 2026 will be considered by Berwyn prior to submission of a request for release of funds. Comments should specify which notice they are addressing.
