Mission Statement

The Building Department's mission is to provide quality customer service to the community that is efficient, comprehensive and helpful, to safeguard life, health, property and public welfare by regulating and controlling the construction, quality of materials, use of all buildings and structures, and city ordinances within the City of Berwyn.

Building permits will not be issued after 4:30 pm on Mondays, Wednesdays, Thursdays and Fridays and after 7:30 pm on Tuesdays.

Building Permit Applications:

Building permit applications can be downloaded and submitted in person or via email to buildingpermits@berwyn-il.gov . Incomplete applications will NOT be submitted for director review.
