The Collector's office is responsible for:
- Business and Contractor Licensing
Anyone interested in opening a business in Berwyn or any Contractor wanting to work in Berwyn can pick up an application and checklist requirements to become licensed in Berwyn. - Consumer Information On Berwyn Businesses and Contractors
Lists of licensed and bonded Contractors are available for residents and businesses when information is needed for services to be performed. - Consumer Complaints On Licensed Businesses and Contractors
A complaint form is available to residents and businesses if they feel a contractor has not fulfilled their contract and they seek further action. The City Collector will investigate the complaint and work towards a resolution. - Real Estate Transfers
City ordinance requires that any resident selling property in Berwyn obtain real estate transfer stamps. These stamps can be obtained during regular business hours at City Hall up to one half hour before closing.
Passport Permit Parking (Vacin Fairway Passes & Depot Passes)
Starting January 1, 2026, permit parking is no longer available at City Hall
All permitted parking, vacin and at Depot District for residents, seniors, and businesses, is now administered by the Berwyn Police Department and available online at www.berwynpd.org.
Residents can now request and manage permit parking through an online dashboard using the Passport Permit Parking system.
