Hello Neighbors,

August has been hot and fast paced, but filled with good times in our Beautiful Berwyn neighborhood. Whether you attended our Cruise Nites series, the annual Third Ward Summer Fest, or the Senior Ice Cream Social each gathering brought us together.

Next Saturday, August 29th, 2026, the Berwyn Development Corporation presents the 33rd Annual WeatherTech Berwyn Route 66 Car Show on Ogden Avenue, which I am proud to support.

From 7:00AM to 4:00PM, we will celebrate the 100th anniversary of Route 66 with a FREE event not to be missed. As a new school year begins, it is encouraging to see so many Berwyn families returning to our public and parochial schools.

In Berwyn, it truly takes a village, and I look forward to seeing our families, educators, and neighbors keeping our neighborhood strong.

Agosto ha sido un mes caluroso y de mucho movimiento, pero también ha estado lleno de buenos momentos en nuestro hermoso vecindario de Berwyn. Ya sea que hayan asistido a nuestra serie de Cruise Nites, al Festival de Verano anual del Tercer Distrito o al Helado Social para Adultos Mayores, cada encuentro nos brindó la oportunidad de reunirnos.

El próximo sábado, 29 de agosto del 2026, la Corporación de Desarrollo de Berwyn presenta el 33.º Annual WeatherTech Berwyn Route 66 Car Show en la Avenida Ogden, un evento que me enorgullece apoyar. De 7:00AM a 4:00PM, celebraremos el centenario de la Ruta 66 con un evento GRATUITO que no se querrá perder.

Al comenzar un nuevo año escolar, es alentador ver a tantas familias de Berwyn regresar a nuestras escuelas públicas y parroquiales.

En Berwyn, verdaderamente se necesita de toda una comunidad, y espero seguir viendo a nuestras familias, educadores y vecinos trabajando juntos para mantener fuerte a nuestro vecindario.
